Charming Catalan villa, peaceful and tranquil location at the foot of the mountains. The villa is situated in a residential area 'Les Chartreuses du Boulou', outside the Catalan village 'Le Boulou' at 5 minutes from the Spanish border. The villa is split over 2 levels. The first floor has a spacious living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen with French doors giving out to the veranda from where you can you go to the terrace and sit in the garden and enjoy the mountain view. There is 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower and bath. On the ground floor, you have next to the big garage, a nice studio of 45m². There is a fully equipped kitchen, large shower room and in the living area 2 single beds and double bed. Private parking outside. There is no pool but there are pretty leisure lakes at St. Jean Pla de Corts (5km) where there is safe bathing, fishing and organized activities for children (such as water acrobatics) during the summer. Or you can drive up to the beaches of Argelès-sur-Mer/Le Racou (20km). From the house, you can leave on foot into the mountains and walk to the Col Llinas or to the Pic Neolous or go hiking into Spain (5km). At one point you will see from the crest of the mountain France at the one side and Spain at the other. By car you can drive up to Céret (10km) a beautiful market town with a modern art museum, a bustling Saturday morning market and picturesque squares with cosy restaurants where you can enjoy Catalan dishes. Cérêt also hosts the festival of the Sardanes, a traditional Catalan dance. You are at 10km from the Spanish border, at 36km from Figueres with its famous modern art museum of Salvador Dali, or you can drive up to Barcelona (170km) for a walk on the Ramblas and admire Gaudi's artwork.

General:	electric heating. Fireplace in living room. Cot available . Pillows (60x60cm) supplied. Bed- and bathroom linen (except beach towels) available for hire.
Dining:	adequate seating for 6-8 people. Highchair available.
Garage:	space for 1 car + outside private parking (3 cars).
Entertainment:	satellite TV (French television).
Outside:	terraces, garden furniture, 1000m²fenced garden. The house is enclosed by a fence and a gate so that children can play safely in the garden.
Suitability:	sorry no pets & no smoking allowed.

Rental notes

Change over day: during high season, on Sunday, low season more flexible.
Keyholder service for check in/out. End-cleaning may be arranged locally at extra cost.
Possible to rent the studio separately during low and mid season. Villa and studio are rented as one during the high season.
Rental rates include electricity/heating costs during winter season.
