Clos St Benoît is a French, large ‘Maison de maître’, i.e. a stone "masters" house situated in the historic catalan district of Elne (a 5min drive to the seaside). The house is on 3 floors with lots of original features. It is a superb place to stay and suits large family group(s). The house comfortably sleeps 12 / 13 adults in seven bedrooms. Alternatively,12 adults and 2 children. There also 3 beds which are suitable for children under about 12yrs.

The house is always cool having thick walls, shutters and tiled floors. Kitchen, lounge and dining room are all spacious and the house has a heated swimming pool. The enclosed pool is a saline filtered pool (wonderful for children – no chlorine) and is approx 10m x 4m and about 1.5 m deep, with large shallow steps to rest on. In the event of a dull (or even wet day), t he large living areas, TV and games room offer lots of scope to be entertained and comfortable, or you can drive up to the mountains (only 40mins drive).

At the outskirts of village surrounded by farmland in the historic catalan district of Elne. At 5km from the beach at St Cyprien, 7km Argelès-sur-Mer, 25km from the Spanish border.
Nearest Airports: Rivesaltes-Perpignan (20km)/ Gerona (105km).

Bathrooms:	3 bathrooms, 1 separate toilet. Main bathrooms consist of bath with shower, bidet, basin and toilet.
Kitchen:	cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, full height American fridge and chest freezer.
General:	central heating. Bed- and bath-linen supplied.
Dining:	adequate seating for 12-14 people. Highchair available.
Entertainment:	terrestrial TV, video, CD system
Outside:	private pool, terrace, garden, BBQ, parking, garden furniture. The house is enclosed by a wall and lockable gate so that children can play safely in the garden.
Suitability:	sorry no pets & no smoking allowed

Rental notes

Change over day: during high season, on Saturday, low season more flexible.
Keyholder service for check in/out. All bed- and bath-linen will be supplied.
Pool and garden maintained weekly.
